FAQ'S

What is microblading method?

Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique.

It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present.

People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from  Microblading, as well as people who  simply aren't happy with their eyebrows.

The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them..

The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

The results can last anywhere from  11 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

What Are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash extensions are a popular new service and product that lengthens and thickens your owns natural eyelashes. Lash Extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. Eyelash Extensions are perfect for special occasion or for day to day wear.

What Do Eyelash Extensions Look Like When Applied?

With proper application, meaning one synthetic eyelash applied to one natural lash the look and feel is completely natural looking and real. No one will know you have extensions. They will think that you were born with beautiful, long lashes!

How Long Will a Set of Eyelash Extensions Last?

When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone's experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all touch ups, they should only be required every 2 to 3 weeks. A special waterproof bonding agent is used. Glue does not contain any fumes or irritants and is long lasting.

Can I Apply Mascara to Eyelash Extensions?

Yes, even though mascara is not really required since the extensions give the illusion of wearing mascara, it can be worn . It mush however only be water based mascara. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA.  Waterproof mascara or any type of oil based mascara can dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your eyelash extensions causing them to fall out sooner. Care also needs to be taken in washing off the mascara. Only use a water based eye makeup remover.

How Often Should I Get Touch Ups?

We recommend getting a touch up every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long, your eyelash extension will fall out and you will require a full set. Your natural eyelashes fall off every 45-60 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. Other factors such as exposure to steam or touching your eyes a lot may cause extensions to fall sooner. A touch up is needed to fill any lashes that have fallen. Touch ups average about 45 minutes.
